Horses of Iceland wishes you all a Happy New Year!

As we step into 2025, we look forward to another year of beautiful moments shared with Icelandic horses and feel extremely grateful for the opportunity to promote this incredible, hardy, versatile and gentle breed (we'd keep adding adjectives but we've heard three is the magic number!). It’s amazing to think that over 1,000 years ago, their journey began on boats bound for Iceland. Now, in 2025, they are cherished worldwide and exported by the thousands every year. Do you think Viking seers could have foreseen this?

No-one knows but what we can predict for certain, is a year filled with magic and connection to anyone lucky enough to experience the joy of Icelandic horses' company.
